Hi Bill I remember you saying you had written a song for 1D, in fact you even sang part of it for some of us ladies at Drummuir Castle. Unfortunately I cannot for the life of me remember the title. I am going with my ten year old granddaughter to Murrayfield in the summer to see 1D and would like to be one up on her so if you could give me a heads up with the title and some of the lyrics if possible that would be great. Hope all is well with yourself and Jan and that you had a lovely Christmas and New Year. All the best for 2014 to you both. xx

Dear Bill and Jan, How wonderful it was to meet you at Lobster Alive in Barbados. We will always remember our special lunch there and the laughs we had with you. An unexpected meeting that will always be remembered fondly and with a big smile. Bill your Afrikaans is still very impressive! Jan I haven't forgotten about the amazing hotel I need to send you details of in Italy. It would be wonderful to meet up with you both again and hear about the rest of your fabulous cruise and the fun and games you no doubt got up to 🙂

Dear Bill, it was an absolute pleasure to be in yours and Jan's company last weekend at a wonderful country retreat. Great company and great venue. A good time was had by all I would say! You sure have some stories to tell and I can't wait to hear more of them. We are just delighted that you have so kindly agreed to come back up north to Aberdeen next year to be guest speaker at our fundraising dinner for our 6 year old son's cause, "Adam's Aim" (www.adamsaim.co.uk). It will be really great to have a speaker not only of your pedigree but also to have that personal connection. Very much looking forward to seeing you again. Thank you so much for offering your support. With our very best wishes, Pam & Graham x

Sir, Pardon this note, but I am in awe of your songwriting ability and wondered if you ever wrote a book on this subject, as guidance to would-be songwriters? I am also fascinated to learn that you once owned kenwood! What great achievements. Sincerely, Peter. P.S. I have just found out that your biography is coming out soon. A must-read for anyone who loves British popular music!

Hello Bill, I'm the one who draws people's animals in pastel & we met in the wine bar in Eliz. St about 6 months ago! Just thought I'd love to take my Goddaughter to The Water Babies, do you know when it'll be on & where? She (Issy) is 13 & has written a piece of music which I'd love you to hear, would that be at all poss? You must get so many like this, so just tell me! I think it's very good, she's very talented. If you have time would love to hear from you again, with very best wishes, Bridget (Biddy)
