Bill, nice to meet you in back of my taxi in Edinburgh from Colinton to Cafe Royal on Friday 8 October, you were a gentleman. I did say I would google you and I now know who you are although my mum was very aware who you were, I did say to you I was an 80's boy born in 1966. I have been viewing your whole website and its good, hopefully get you in back of my taxi again and get your autograph next time. I must apologise though for saying "congratulations" was a bouncy song 🙂 Take care, regards Ben Crawford

Hi Bill, I was cleaning out my attic and came across an old Playing for Rangers book from 1973, I used to get it every Xmas when I was a kid. Anyway I was delighted to find a section all about yourself being a Rangers fan. Having admired your musical achievements for many years, I was absolutely delighted to see that your were also a Gers fan. Good luck Bill its always good to see a fellow Glaswegian and Rangers fan do so well. Regards Stevie.
Hi Bill, I just wanted to write on your guestbook to let you know I was thinking about you. I hope all is well, and let me know when you are next in Edinburgh!!!
Hi Bill I met you on the Queen Victoria Dec 2009 and listened to your talks on musicals. Extremely entertaining. Thank you it was great. hope to meet you again kind regards. Kim
Sad news from Shepperton ! I heard a rumour that The Red Lion is no more! I remember you used to be a barman there ! (JOKE!) Anyhoo Bill it is good to see a fellow Glesgie guy is still going strong!
dear bill just to thank you for the lovely talks on the balmoral cruise
Wonderful to hear of your success. When I am down sometimes I cheer myself up remembering the chit chat between you and Tommy Scott in the Mills Music Reception in Denmark Street. Until then I did not know the Scottish had a sense of humour. I was the blond receptionist there in the 60's when Elton Jophn worked sending out records. After many years I finally landed up as a news reporter? If you ever get this where do you live now?
Hi Bill. Thanks for dining at Vaudreys today and for your kind comments. I hope that you were in time for your train. Regards Keith
If only I had known that you wrote Puppet on a String, I used to sing it all the time - Have you shaved any other hire cars with the yellow peril?
